Gold Medal
In October we attended the National Veteran’s Creative Arts Festival in San Antonio, where Willie performed in a national concert which will eventually be broadcast on PBS. (There’s nothing like seeing a dulcimer on a JumboTron.) In the preceding competition he won a gold medal for Best Original Instrumental Composition.

While In Austin in September we recorded an interview/performance Podcast for a show called The Austin Connection. You can find it at http://www.austinconnection.net or on iTunes and most other podcast aggregators. The show is free to listen to or to download (although donations are welcome to keep the show going via the PayPal buttons on the web pages).
CD Projects
We’re excited to announce that we’ll be back in the studio this winter, working on recording two new CDs. The first one will be mostly our original songs, with a few covers such as the long-awaited “Hallelujah.” Then, we will be recording a CD of Christmas/seasonal music, although it won’t be the standard holiday fare.
